The Better Governance Working Group, part of the North East Together: Leaders Network for Social Change is organising a seminar on trusteeship for delegates at the North East Fundraising Conference on the 19th September in Newcastle.
This event is aimed at fundraising professionals interested in finding out more about trusteeship and then linking them to further opportunities including Trustee Match service provided by Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, the First Trusteeship Development programme, professional volunteering at the Cranfield Trust or simply joining the Trustees North East Linked In group to view current trustees vacancies in VCSE organisations across the region.
We are calling North East VCSE organisations seeking trustees with fundraising/ marketing/ communications experience to join the Trustees North East Linked In group and post their Trustee opportunities in the Jobs tab so that individuals looking for trustee positions can view them. We are especially keen for organisations to do this before 19th September so there are a good number of live trustee positions for the Potential First Time Trustee event attendees to view.
